Dave y Joyce Falconer
Representante Especial
USA – Suroeste
FIELD
Dave served as senior pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Mesa, Arizona for 26 years. In 1989 he became the Southwest Special Representative for Missions Door. Since then, Dave and Joyce have also been actively involved in missions in Mexico and the Navajo Nation. They have developed the ministry of Networking for Missions, which has been effective in providing a cross-cultural experience for churches in the Southwest. Networking for Missions involves people in sharing out of their abundance with others who have great needs. Networking for Missions’ vision verse is 1 John 3:17-18 (Living Bible): “But if someone who is supposed to be a Christian has money enough to live well, and sees a brother in need, and won’t help, how can God’s love be with him? Little children, let us stop just saying we love people, let us really love them and show it by our actions.”
The Falconers continue to be very active in the Southwest CBAmerica churches through missions conferences, sharing the Faith Promise program for supporting missionaries, and representing Missions Door. Dave serves on the board of trustees of the Nogales Baptist Seminary (SEBANO), which has graduated many fine students. Joyce conducts sewing classes for the Mexican and Navajo women and has taught them to use their sewing to reach their neighbors and also to provide clothing for the poor.
FAITH
Dave received Christ at the age of 13, and from the very beginning God placed on him the call to ministry. He was mentored and raised in a very active church family, who encouraged him to develop his gifts for lifelong ministry.
Joyce became a Christian at the First Baptist Church of Yuma, Arizona, at the age of 10. When she was 13 she became very aware that God had placed His hand on her for some kind of ministry. She became involved in missions early in her life and God prepared her for a lifetime of ministry.
FAMILY
Dave and Joyce were married in 1987 after the deaths of their first spouses.
