FIELD
Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. This country has gone through turmoil and political unrest for years, but in the midst of financial and political chaos, the country is responding to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Francklin joined Missions Door’s Haiti ministry team in 2006 to work as the youth and children's ministries coordinator. He is working with the pastors of the 11 churches that are associated with Missions Door in Haiti, helping those churches develop children’s ministries in their local congregations. He is also responsible for organizing camps and Christmas outreach projects. Since January 2010, he’s also taken on the role of coordinator for short-term mission teams.

FAITH
Francklin was born in Gros-Morne, Artibonite, Haiti, and grew up in Port-au-Prince. He accepted Christ as his personal Savior in 1987 and was baptized. When his mother died in 1993, he met Pastor Herode Guillomettre and his life took a new direction.

In 1996 Francklin started serving the Lord in full-time ministry at Friendship Baptist Church in youth ministries, as the children’s ministries coordinator and as Sunday school superintendent. He became a worship leader and preacher in 2003 at Victory Baptist Church in Port-au-Prince, a new church plant of Missions Door at that time. He was also the youth ministry president.

Between 2004 and 2008 God called him to study theology at Christianville University, a school started by American missionaries, where he earned his ministry license. After graduation he became an ordained minister, and continued to serve as a pastor in Missions Door Haiti ministry.

In 2009 Francklin moved to Petit Goâve to be the district pastor for three churches. He worked with the leaders, led Bible studies and provided theological training for pastors who did not have that training. He continues to coordinate the children and youth ministries in Petit Goâve and preach there occasionally.

In 2010, Francklin moved to Port-au-Prince to work as the coordinator for the relief group hospitality home, a facility for short-term mission teams who have come since the earthquake to help the ministry in Haiti. These groups are organized by Delta Ministries and Missions Door. His responsibilities include food, lodging, transportation as well as setting up ministry assignments and being liaison while the teams are in Haiti. He enjoys getting to know the groups individually as they serve the Lord together.

FAMILY
Francklin was born into a Christian family. He and Nerlie were married in December 2011.
