FIELD
Ransom is an affiliate with Campus Ambassadors at the University of Colorado at Boulder, a large university that is generally considered to contain students who are not open to Christian ideas. He works to change the lives of his fellow students, bringing them to Jesus through a Christ-centered community and showing them the love that he has found in God.

Jessica got involved in Campus Ambassadors her freshman year of college. She became the student president and learned more of what the ministry is about. Being president gave her the chance to learn how to be a leader and how ministry on a college campus like CU was done.

After two years as president, God led Jessica to take the next step and become a Campus Ambassadors intern. She was excited to have the opportunity to minister to students on campus.

“The University of Colorado is a very dark place, but I know there are people searching for the truth.” She is looking forward to what God has planned and where He will lead her through this experience.

FAITH
Ransom was raised in a Christian home and all his life has been slowly growing closer to God. For many years, he has helped to lead worship in many churches in the Boulder area and is now excited to continue growing in the Lord with Campus Ambassadors.

Jessica became a Christian on May 24, 1992 at the age of 4. She underwent some hard times in middle school and high school, but toward the end of high school and then in college, she made her faith her own.

She became involved in ministry early on in her life. There were challenges, especially when she started attending CU, but God was good. No matter the difficulties she faced, He was there to pull her through. Her faith has been, in a word, a journey. But it not been a journey by herself, God has been there leading.

“Without challenges, how can a person grow? How else can a person learn to trust God?”

FAMILY
Ransom and his older brother were raised in Boulder by two loving parents, and Jessica was raised in a Christian home. They were married in November of 2010.
