FIELD
As a recent graduate from Northern Arizona University with a major in Psychology, Kendyl has recently found a heart and passion for campus ministry. She is working at Worcester State University doing campus ministry and spreading the Word of God to the college generation.

At Worcester State University she is being trained to do campus ministry. During this time of training she is finding God’s path and the location she will be serving at permanently. Kendyl is so excited to be working at Worcester State University and continuing to pursue God’s will for her life.

FAITH
Kendyl was raised in a Christian home and accepted Christ at the age of 5. She has had great Christian examples in her family but also has experienced some hardship.

Kendyl was born with a syndrome in which her body formed benign tumors in the bones on the right side of her body. After facing several challenging surgeries, she began to question her faith.

At a Christian conference her senior year of high school, Kendyl was taken under a youth leader’s wing and recommitted her life to Christ. Since then she has been a youth coach, gone on numerous short-term missions trips including two to Cambodia, where she worked with young girls who had been sold into sex trafficking. Kendyl has been serving as a high school youth ministry intern at her home church in Flagstaff, Arizona and is excited to be starting full-time ministry with college students!

FAMILY
Kendyl has had two amazing examples in her parents, Don and Roxie Jacobson, who served in Campus Ambassadors for more than sixteen years. Kendyl is excited to be following in their footsteps!  It is natural that she has a love for college students, since they had a profound influence on her as she was growing up.  Kendyl has an older brother named Benjamin.
