FIELD
Jason and Shannon Pittman serve the Lord Jesus Christ in a discipleship and evangelism ministry through Campus Ambassadors, a collegiate ministry to secular college campuses.  They were appointed by Missions Door, the CA parent organization, in March, 2001 to serve as Campus Ministry Specialists at Oregon State University and Linn-Benton Community College. 

Over the past decade, Jason and Shannon have been actively involved in various aspects of student ministry including large group teaching, small group study, one-to-one discipleship, hoops outreach, leadership development, college Sunday school, college lunch, fraternity and co-op outreach, hosting international students, training seminars, Engage short-term missions, mission mobilization for long-term servers, Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, community development activities, service projects, as well as various event and advisory tasks. 

The Lord continues to open doors and create opportunities for His gospel to be proclaimed on campus.  As long as He enables and until He calls elsewhere, Jason and Shannon will continue to serve the Lord with passion by proclaiming the Name of Jesus on campus.

FAITH
Jason and Shannon met while students on a leadership retreat with Campus Ambassadors. They both attended and graduated from Oregon State University. Jason committed his life to Jesus shortly after enlisting in the United States Navy.

Shannon has known the Lord since she was a young girl. Together they are committed to serving Him and raising a godly family. Jason has a strong interest in maps, photography, books, and higher education.

Shannon enjoys art, Shakespeare, teaching, and consulting for Creative Memories. In their free time, they love to participate in sports activities and outdoor recreation. Shannon is an accomplished artist.

FAMILY
Jason and Shannon were married in 1996.
